I said “Ok.” Like what am I supposed to do about that? That seems like a personal problem to me. He kept going, “I just wanted to talk to you. I made a huge mistake. You’re the one for me. I need you in my life. I want to marry you.” My jaw dropped because for years I wanted to marry this man. Can you imagine thinking that 3 years in is the time, then year five comes and no proposal, and finally, your relationship is over by year seven.
