Hello old friends, new followers, and fellow bloggers–

Good morning!  It’s 3:16 am here in SC and I am still up.  While my parents are sleeping, I am working on my new poetry blog- launching its social media accounts while finishing up the final touches for its website.  I know… I should be sleeping too, but my mind is full of creative ideas and if I don’t work on one of these projects- it can all be lost in dreamland. So, I’m playing a folk album and allowing myself to create unhindered, unbothered and with no time restraints.  While sitting here creating something new,  a thought ran across my mind: “Creativity doesn’t have a bedtime.”

Creativity doesn’t have a bedtime. Throughout my creative journey, I have found myself the most creative in the wee hours of the morning, before the sun comes up.  While the world is sleeping soundly, I am dreaming with my eyes wide open; creating and strategizing for the future.  I think this the life of an artist, to do things a little different from their peers – to dream fully awake.

So, when was the last time you gave yourself the liberty to dream?  When was the last time you allowed yourself to come out of practicality and into creativity?

In the realm of creativity, there are no set rules or definitions of right or wrong, there is freedom in expression. Anything is possible to the creative, there are no limits.

What would your life look like if you believed you had no limits? What would you do?  Would you start that blog you’ve been sitting on?  That book?  Would you start the podcast you’ve been dreaming about?  How about that business or new financial venture?  What would you do if you were truly unlimited?

When you give yourself the space to create, you come to see all the possibilities available to you.  Creativity partnered with a lot of hard work can change your life.  So, loves, feel free to be creative, to dream with your eyes wide open and to reach for the stars!
