Hello old friends, new followers and fellow bloggers- 

Today, I wanted to encourage you guys to go after whatever you desire in life.  Some of us desire to do great things but because of where we are in life, we believe that we can’t go further than where we are- that however, is false.  You can do whatever you put your mind to do.  You can no longer live in fear of what’s to come, that you don’t move forward.  Go for it!

 I posted maybe less than 6 mos ago a post called “I’ll Come When I’m Ready” talking about being positioned for a relationship- dealing with our mess before we bring others into our lives.  I have come to the realization that some has used that post as an excuse to never pursue after the love of their lives.  For some of us, we can deal with our stuff by ourselves, but some of us need the help of those who love us to encourage us to move into our dreams.  For some of us , if we wait to pursue- we would never pursue.  We are so full of excuses to why we are not moving forward, to why we are not making our dreams come true.

Today, I say go after what you want- pursue after your dream!  If you love someone, go after a relationship with that person [if they are not married or in a relationship – respect boundaries].  If you want to be in a certain profession, do whatever you need to do (with integrity of course) to make sure your dream comes true.  God has given us a vision for our future but if we don’t go after that vision – it perishes and produces nothing.  I know the unknown is scary and sometimes we contemplate whether or not that person or dream is worth the risk – but trust me its worth it!

  If you are scared of failure, we learn our best lessons in the midst of failure so that we can succeed.  If you are scared of success, we learn the value of hard work in the midst of promotion.  We need failure and success to grow us as individuals.  I say- time out for sitting in the background and watching our dreams die or be fulfilled by others, go for it!  Go and pursue after your purpose/ dream in this world.  Go for it!  

Joshua 1: 9(NIV) says:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Don’t be afraid because God is going to be with you as you pursue your dreams in Him.  Have a great day & GO FOR IT!!!
