Hello old friends, new followers and fellow bloggers-

Hello all!  I hope all is well, I was thinking- What if I called y’all Authentic Lovers?  Like a group name to reflect us being a group of people that support one another through the good, the bad and the ugly.  I just wanted to to let you guys know that I absolutely appreciate you guys. I appreciate y’all’s love and kindness for this past year and a half- I appreciate you!

So today, I thought I would encourage you guys with something that has been on my heart today.  I have some GREAT news!!! An article that I wrote “I Fell” was featured on the WordPress Gazette (link below) which is a Twitter News-feed online newspaper that features articles all across the world for a particular day, and today- “I Fell” was featured.  When I found out that my writing was picked for this digital media,  I was so happy!  It was like all of my hard work was finally beginning to be recognized.  I know that this recognition is not as great as 100,000 followers but you have to celebrate the small victories to appreciate the big ones.

It’s funny how life works.  When we think of giving up or when we think no one cares about our hard work, God shows us that He cares.  He allows us to see how our hard work has affected others in order to encourage us to keep going- to keep doing what we love to do.  So today, I want to encourage you guys to not give up!  I know that sometimes life gets hard and it’s so easy to throw in the towel, but don’t- don’t give up!  Stay in the fight!  Keep doing what you love to do! Keep working hard because one day your hard work is going to pay off…it is, I promise.

I leave you with this encouraging scripture:  

^“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6: 9 NIV)
