Hello old friends, new followers and fellow bloggers-
Today was a great day! I spent the day with my bestie “E” and she surprised me with a gift- 2 jumbo warm chocolate chip cookies ( one had a message and one as blank). Even though, this gift wasn’t extravagant or expensive- it was such a sweet gesture. I always described God’s love as a warm chocolate chip cookie, that leaves you feeling all ooey-goey inside. That warmth is such a great feeling, so for her to get me those cookies with a sweet message was so memorable for me. What it boils down to is- it feels good to know that you are loved. When you know that you are loved, this love warms you up from the inside like a chocolate chip cookie.
Earlier this year, I wrote a post called- “When my mind and heart agree”, and in this blog post I shared the memory of my friend “G” and I standing in a church- praying together. After we finished praying, “G”‘s face was flushed red and I asked him, “How do you feel? He said he felt great. I touched his heart and said “Like a warm chocolate chip cookie, right? All ooey-gooey inside.” He smiled and said “Yeah, just like that.” God’s love leaves you feeling so good from the inside out. With His love, you feel like you can conquer the world – it feels so good to know that you are loved by Him. So good. So this evening, as you guys are spending time with family and friends- I encourage you to embrace God’s love for you.
Everyday, I hope that you guys come to feel a type of love that fills you up and makes you smile. I hope that this love warms you up like an ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookie. Everyday, I hope that when you wake up- you realize you are loved by Someone who created the world. Everyday, I hope you realize you are loved by the Savior of the world. Everyday, I hope you realize that you are loved by someone who died for you….
Everyday, I pray that you realize you are loved!
Until next time,
Mo 🙂
