Hello old friends, new followers and fellow bloggers- 

Once upon a time, I thought that I didn’t deserve love as if love was something that one worked for, earned.   I led a very defeated life, simply because I believed that I didn’t deserve to live victorious.  The way I thought, dictated my lifestyle and the way I allowed others to treat me. Love is simply given and received, not worked for and earned. 

I think we all come to a place in our lives where we are not content, where we realize that there has to be more to living than what is presented to us.  I came to that place in my life and this year, I’ve made an effort to be more confident within my own skin and also in the presence of those around me.  This new found liberty was not welcomed by many at first, but I believe that as I stay true to myself- I am my happiest.  I am deserving of love, to be treated fairly with compassion and kindness.  Love should be given to me, and since I know what love consists of – I refuse to accept anything less than what I have already received.  When you embrace the love of God, you realize that superficial love just doesn’t add up and His love makes you confident enough to believe in yourself.  Be encouraged and realize that you are worth loving!
